Trondheim Triathlon will take place on Sunday, August 27st, 2017. An informational meeting and bicycle and equipment check-in will take place on Saturday, August 26th.
Registration for Trondheim Triathlon 2017 will open at 20:00 on November 27th, 2016.
Registration is open until July 15th, 2017. It is not possible to register after this date, and there is no waiting list. The registration fee is 1200 NOK. If you do not want the participant shirt, the registration fee is 1150 NOK. A one-time or year-long license is required and can be bought in conjunction with the registration.
Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day, and the event is only open to individual competitors. That is, there is no relay event.
The course is challenging and you should be adequately prepared for all aspects of the race. Participants who have not reached completed the swim course in 1.5 hours, or have not completed the cycling course 3.5 hours after the start, will not be allowed to finish. Trondheim Triathlon Club also organizes other competitions in the local area which provide additional opportunities for everyone to participate and attain their personal goals as a triathlete. There will be no
waiting list, and late entry upon arrival in event weekend is not
possible. There are no refunds on the entry fee, for any reason.
Starting places are personal and can not be exchanged or transferred to others
ntil 1th of July 2017, for a fee of 200 NOK
paid by the buyer, a participant can sell his/her starting place
. After 1st of July 2017 the start place can no longer be sold.
The registration fee covers the starting number (with name), swim cap, a commemorative t-shirt (optional), boat transportation to the start, refreshments at the drinking station along the running course, and food and drink in the finish area.
Age groups are specific to gender and consist of: Junior (aged 18-19), Senior (aged 20-39), and Masters (40-49, 50-59, etc).
There will be prizes for the first, second, and third place overall winners of each gender, as well as to all age group winners.
Trondheim Triathlon is run by volunteers, with Trondheim Triathlon Club as the organizing body. Any profit incurred from the event will go towards promoting the sport of triathlon through the club.
